*URGENT APPEAL FOR HELPING MAHARASHTRA FLOOD VICTIMS*

 

Monsoon rains in India are lashing many states, where rivers have overflown, causing landslides, collapsing bridges and submerging houses. Many people  lost their lives  so far and many became homeless. This calamity has caused immeasurable misery and devastation in the nation, the worst in almost a century!

 

A red alert has been announced in many regions and troops have been deployed to carry out search and rescue missions. Hundreds of relief camps have been opened at various locations to accommodate the flood victims. Camp officials are providing hot food and medicines to the victims to prevent infections.

 

The Meteorological Department is forecasting more heavy rains in many flood affected areas in the coming days as well. As the flood situation in many areas continues to be in danger, there is no respite of water overflowing from the rivers.

 

It is a very tough situation in Western South Maharashtra right now and thousands of people NEED YOUR IMMEDIATE HELP!
